The Peacock Gap HOA is a community organization established in 1963 in the Peacock Gap neighborhood of San Rafael, California and contains 427 beautiful homes. Its primary aim is to maintain and manage the community to ensure it remains a great place to live and is responsible for maintaining the common areas of the community, including landscaping, signs, and medians, and enforcing rules and regulations related to property use and resident behavior. These rules promote harmonious living and protect the interests of homeowners.
The Peacock Gap HOA has created a CARES program Community, Alert, Responsible for Everyone's Safety, which is a community-oriented initiative that provides a network of support for residents during emergencies or crises. The program also provides a means of communication between the HOA and its residents. CARES members act as points of contact during times of need and work with local authorities to help residents access essential services during emergencies.
In addition to the CARES program, the Peacock Gap HOA also organizes community events such as BBQs, holiday celebrations, and other social activities. These events foster a sense of community and allow neighbors to connect with each other in a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.
The HOA also upholds the architectural guidelines that promote respect among neighbors and maintain the character of the neighborhood. Before making any significant changes to the exterior of their homes, please first submit plans to the HOA's Architecture Review Committee for approval. This process helps ensure that any alterations or additions to homes are consistent with the neighborhood's style and do not detract from its overall aesthetic appeal. The HOA is also responsible for maintaining the common areas of the community, including landscaping, signs, and medians, and enforcing rules and regulations related to property use and resident behavior. These rules promote harmonious living and protect the interests of homeowners.
To support these activities, homeowners who belong to the Peacock Gap HOA are required to pay the nominal annual dues of $130. Dues are due in the first quarter of every year.
