Painting the Exterior of your home?
To help streamline the Architectural Review process, the Peacock Gap Homeowners Association has established a Pre-Approved Exterior Color Palette.
Homes proposing exterior paint colors selected exactly from this approved palette are eligible for automatic Architectural Committee approval, provided the application is otherwise complete and no other exterior modifications require review.
Pre-approved Pallet— A Faster Approval Option — Not a Restriction
Homeowners are not required to use these colors. The pre-approved palette is simply intended to make the review process easier for homeowners who would like to select from colors that have already been reviewed and approved.
How the Approval Process Works
All exterior painting projects should be submitted through the HOA Architectural Review process before work begins.
Pre-Approved Color Palette
Use a Pre-Approved Color
Select the "Pre-Approved Color Palette" option on the Architectural Review form and provide the requested paint information.
Because the color has already been reviewed by the HOA, your color selection will be automatically approved through the submission process.
Use a Different Color
You do not have to use a color from the pre-approved palette.
Homeowners are not limited to these colors. If you wish to use exterior colors outside the Pre-Approved Palette, you are welcome to submit them for Architectural Committee review through the standard approval process. The Committee will continue to evaluate these requests in accordance with the Association's architectural guidelines and the overall character of the neighborhood.
Re-paint Current Color
Select the "Previously Approved Color" option on the Architectural Review form and provide the requested paint information.
Because the color was approved in the past by the HOA, re-painting the exterior in the same color will be automatically approved through the submission process.
Pre-Approved Exterior Paint Color Guide
Borrow the PGHOA Color Ring: The PGHOA maintains a physical color ring containing all of the colors in the Pre-Approved Exterior Color Palette. Homeowners are welcome to borrow the color ring to assist with their decision-making process and compare colors at their home under different lighting conditions.
