The Peacock Gap HOA is part of the CARES program (Community, Alert, Responsible for Everyone's Safety), which is a community-oriented initiative that provides a network of support for residents during emergencies or crises. Inspired by the feedback of our first disaster preparedness survey, where 75% of respondents said they would help others in need, CARES members act as points of contact during times of need and work with local authorities to help residents access essential services during emergencies.
Community. Working together to support and welcome all our residents, and to promote our collective safety and the beauty of our neighborhoods.
Alert. Keeping our eyes and ears open while also honoring everyone’s privacy.
Responsible. We treat each other with respect. If we see or hear of anyone in our community in need, when possible, we help each other or seek other appropriate resources.
Everyone. We are all in our Peacock Gap neighborhood together. We look out for each other as well as any visitors or workers who come and go from our community.
Safety. We protect our neighbors and our properties. We alert neighbors and (and authorities as appropriate) and take action if we witness any unsafe situations caused by nature or human interactions.
